My e-cigarette is leaking. How can I fix this?
Answer:
Leakage is a common problem, but in most cases, it's easy to fix. First, check that all parts of the tank or pod are properly attached (consult the user manual or contact us for advice). Second, check for broken or worn parts; cracks in the glass/plastic can be difficult to spot! Also, check for a missing O- ring (tank). These are the plastic rings that make tanks airtight and ensure everything stays in place.
If the tank is in good condition and leaks persist, several other factors could influence the leak. The most important things to consider when preventing leaks are using the correct liquid for the tank or pod, and closing the airflow when filling the tank from the top. A guideline (not always definitive) for using the correct liquid with the correct coil resistance is as follows:
0.6/0.8 ohms and higher resistances can require thinner fluids, such as 50/50 or 30/70 (VG/PG). For pod systems, you can use 0.6 ohms, and for systems with a separate coil in a tank, we recommend a minimum of 0.8 ohms.
0.6 ohms and lower resistances can require thicker fluids, such as 70/30 or 80/20 (VG/PG).
